Engr. A.C. Manalo studies in Japan
Engr. Allan C. Manalo left April 7 to pursue a two-year Master’s
Course in Environmental Management and Infrastructure Development
Engineering at Saitama University in Japan. Financed by the Asian
Development Bank, Engr. Manalo’s scholarship is expected to hone
his skills as a research engineer. These skills will especially
be useful in the upgrading and operation of the FPRDI Structural
Testing Laboratory and in developing a research program to promote
the use of prefabricated building components thru performance-based
seismic design. #
